Need help with a Sunnova-installed system? Start with your account status—and the equipment on the home.
Sunnova’s servicing structure changed after its Chapter 11 process. If you have a production, inverter, monitoring, or equipment issue, first confirm who currently services your account. MK3 can provide independent diagnostics and repair for qualifying existing systems when appropriate.

Separate account servicing from a physical system fault.
A customer-service transition does not automatically explain why a system stopped producing. The installed equipment still needs to be diagnosed on its own merits.

Independent diagnostics for the system you already own or use.
- Production and system-health diagnostics
- Supported inverter and equipment troubleshooting
- Compatible monitoring reconnection
- Panel, wiring, optimizer and microinverter fault assessment
- Supported battery diagnostics
- Restoration work when multiple faults are involved
MK3 does not replace your Sunnova or successor servicing agreement.
MK3 is not affiliated with Sunnova, SunStrong, or the owner or servicer of your customer agreement. Before independent work, review the account instructions and applicable warranty or service terms. Manufacturer coverage may still apply depending on the equipment and warranty terms.
If possible, have the current servicer name, equipment brands, agreement type, monitoring screenshots, error codes, and any recent service correspondence ready.
What homeowners should know.
Sunnova filed Chapter 11 in June 2025. After a court-supervised sale process, new owners acquired substantially all of Sunnova’s assets and operations, SunStrong Management took responsibility for servicing most acquired in-service customer systems, and Sunnova says it ceased independent operations.
Sunnova’s current closure resource says SunStrong Management services and manages most in-service customer systems acquired by the new owner group. Check the communications tied to your specific account before hiring independent service.
MK3 can independently diagnose qualifying existing systems within its supported equipment and service scope. The correct path depends on your ownership or financing arrangement, equipment, account transition, fault, access, and parts availability.
No. MK3 is independent and does not assume Sunnova contracts or obligations. Any manufacturer or contractual coverage is controlled by the applicable company and terms.
