ADT exited residential solar. Independent repair can still start with your existing system.
ADT announced its exit from residential solar in 2024. If an ADT-installed system now has a production, inverter, monitoring, or equipment problem, use any applicable official support first and consider MK3 for independent diagnostics or repair where appropriate.

Existing support first. Independent repair when you need it.
An ADT Solar-installed system may still have a contractual or manufacturer support path. If the issue falls outside that path—or you need an independent technical assessment—MK3 can diagnose qualifying existing equipment.
Keep contract, warranty, financing, and prior service information together.
Inverter model, monitoring platform, battery brand, errors, and production history help narrow the issue.
MK3 can diagnose supported equipment without turning the call into a new-system sales pitch.

Diagnostics and repair for the system that is already there.
- Solar-system production diagnostics
- Supported inverter and electrical troubleshooting
- Monitoring reconnection where compatible
- Panel, wiring and equipment assessment
- Battery diagnostics for supported systems
- System restoration when practical
MK3 does not assume ADT Solar warranties or contracts.
MK3 is an independent solar repair company. Any remaining ADT, manufacturer, financing, or other contractual rights are governed by those agreements and providers. Independent repair should be coordinated with any applicable coverage requirements.
The MK3 business model is diagnostics, repair and restoration of existing systems—not new solar installation sales.
What existing customers should know.
ADT announced in January 2024 that it would exit the residential solar business. ADT’s support information says it stopped accepting new solar customers in February 2024, and its public financial reporting described the solar business as substantially wound down later that year.
If you are an existing ADT Solar customer and your issue may be covered by an existing support arrangement, start with the official ADT Solar support resources. MK3 can provide independent diagnostics and repair when appropriate.
MK3 can diagnose qualifying existing systems within its supported equipment and geography. Serviceability depends on the actual equipment, fault, access, and parts availability.
No. MK3 Energy is independent and is not affiliated with ADT or ADT Solar.
