Orphaned solar system help

Your installer may be gone. Your solar system still needs support.

An orphaned solar system is an existing system that has lost reliable installer support. MK3 helps homeowners identify what is wrong, restore compatible monitoring, repair supported equipment, and build a practical service path without selling a new solar installation.

Warranty reality

Installer warranty and manufacturer warranty are not the same thing.

MK3 does not assume the obligations of a closed installer. Equipment coverage may still apply in some situations, but validity, transferability, eligibility, and payment are determined by the manufacturer and the applicable warranty terms.

Repair-first, not promise-first.

MK3 can inspect the equipment, explain the repair path, and identify information that may be useful if you contact a manufacturer. The company does not promise that a warranty will cover the work.

Questions homeowners ask

Solar repair FAQs

Straight answers, with warranty and repairability determined by the actual equipment and applicable terms.

MK3’s business model is built around existing-system diagnostics and repair. Serviceability still depends on the equipment, system condition, access, and parts availability.

No. MK3 is not the successor to the original installer and does not assume that company’s workmanship obligations. Manufacturer coverage may still apply depending on the manufacturer and warranty terms.

If possible, have the installer name, equipment brand, monitoring screenshots, error codes, recent utility bill changes, and the service address or ZIP code.
